GLORIA "STARK 1200"

REFRACTORY CEMENT for Fireplaces & BBQs

Fireproof extremely durable material to temperature developed inside homes and in the chambers of ovens. Intended for building and grouting of all kinds of refractory bricks in grills, BBQ, fireplaces, chimneys or spreads in old ovens. Also used as a sealant in pipe joints of asbestos (flues with central heating).

Necessary to restore the detached firebricks.

CHARACTERISED BY:

· Excellent adhesion and bonding ability.

· Fire-resistant behavior up to 1200ºC !!!

· Comfortable leveling with a trowel or spatula.

· Excellent grip on a vertical surface (or mud).

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:

v The bricks must be cleaned of dust or mud or sand. If the temperature is high soak it with a little water to ensure the workability and the correction time (the sludge is not fast drying).

v To a clean container (e.g. ships) mix "STARK 1200" with water in the appropriate ratio and stir until homogenized and formed cohesive mud. A 25kilo of material requires 5.7 liters of water. Wait 3-4 minutes and then start applying with a suitable trowel. The grouting is made with the same product. Leftovers removed before "pull" the mud and clean the surface with a damp sponge to avoid stains occur on the bricks of the dried clay.

v The use of the outbreak can begin after 3 days from the building.

CONSUMPTION :

4-6 kg per m² depending on the size of the refractory elements and the width of the joints.
